Women In Apologetics Conference To Feature Former Zoegirl Artist As Event's Worship Leader

The group Women In Apologetics ( formerly ISWA ) announced via Facebook yesterday that they will feature former Zoegirl artist Alisa Childers as worship leader for their first annual apologetics event to be held on January 19-20, 2018. They stated, "What is often missing from apologetics conferences? Worship! While we are loving God with our minds, we should not neglect to worship God with our hearts. This is why we are excited to have the talented Alisa Childers (formerly of ZOEgirl) lead us in worship at the Inaugural Women in Apologetics Conference, Jan 19 & 20, 2018! You will not want to miss it so, mark your calendars and share with your friends!" Childers is a fitting choice for worship at the event, currently hosting her own podcast called Relevant where she talks about the current issues of our day from a Christian perspective. ISWA U: A Free Online Apologetics Curriculum For Woman

When I first started blogging three years ago, I had no idea that there were any women involved in apologetics. At the time, the only woman that I learned of was apologist MaryJo Sharp , and I remember her saying that there were very few woman apologists but that the number was slowly beginning to rise. Well, enter ISWA, The International Society of Women in Apologetics, headed by Sarah Ankenman ( The Valley Girl Apologist ). ISWA has just released a free online curriculum called ISWA U , in keeping with their mission statement "to train women in the defense of the faith ." ISWA U features video and audio lectures by women for women who will learn what they believe and why.
