A Great Honor...

This blog has received an award!!! Mrs. Mecomber of Freaky Frugalite has nominated my blog for the Superior Scribbler Award! :D What does that mean? Well, it means that all my well-thought-0ut "scribbles" of thought were deemed worthy of praise! LOL! In English, that means that Mrs. Mecomber highly recommends my blog as a "fan." I am honored; THANK YOU MRS. MECOMBER!!! All I have to do to receive this great honor is pass the award on to FIVE people, following these simple rules: 1. Each Superior Scribbler (S.S.) must pass the Award onto 5 most deserving blogger friends. 2. Each S.S. must link the author and name of the blog from whom he/she received the award. 3. Each S.S. must display the award on his/her blog and link to this post, which explains the award. 4. Each S.S. who wins is asked to visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List so they can keep up-to-date on everyone who receives The Prestigious Honor. (This is unnecessary, since the Mr. Linky is full... :D) 5. Each S.S. must post these rules on his/her blog. So without further ado, I award these blogs... 1. Skeptical Christianity: All about "fearlessly and honestly exploring the challenges of faith in Jesus," using persuasive points of apologetics to support the Gospel. The author's sarcastic style (at times) makes for an entertaining read; and this blog is very inspiring, as well. 2. Confident Christianity: By Mary Jo Sharp, a Christian apologist and speaker. She has some excellent material on her site, which includes her debates with skeptics and podcasts. She is also hosting her first online conference! 3. The Foundation Forum: Written by a good friend of mine, this blog documents the quotes and letters of America's Founding Fathers and takes a strong stand for America's Christian heritage. 4. Brad Stine's Blog Nation: By a conservative comedian who also sounds off on the important issues of our day in a humorous way. He is also an amateur actor. If you need a good laugh, Brad's humor shines through the words on the page, cleverly blended with his Christian beliefs. 5. The Dog Blog of Goodness and Mercy: This is a cute blog by dogs Mercy and Goodness... whether its getting into trouble or having a hard time adjusting with their new "brother" the cat, these dogs tell it like it is, providing a very creative, but entertaining blog. You can also find information about how to care for your dog on this blog. So there you have it, folks! These are my blog recommendations... be sure to check them out and let me know what you think!

  1. I'm glad you liked the award. :) Technically, you're not a "scribbler" because your posts seem more like researched compositions!

I love Foundation Forum; I hope Hercules finds time in the future to continue it. The others are unfamiliar to me; I'll have to check them out!

  2. Hello Miss Szymanski,
Congratulations on your award! You truly are a "superior scribbler!" That you would share your award with me is a surprise, and a great honor. I think it is really generous of you, since I have not "scribbled" in some time. Thank you.

I checked out the other blogs you awarded -- they look great! Sometime I plan to peruse them more thoroughly.

    Congrats again, and thank you.
