What People Are Saying About Evolution

Last month, I posted about the Pennsylvania book on the history of innovations. I stated that I thought it was rather absurd that it states very matter of factly, "Vast tropical swamps covered Western Pennsylvania..." Yeah right... as if they were there to witness the event! I promised to give more evidence against this, but for now, I wanted to post a quote by evolutionist Sir Fredrick Hoyle.... “The likelihood (probability) of the spontaneous formation of life from inanimate matter is one to number with 40,000 noughts after it ... It is big enough to bury Darwin and the whole theory of evolution. There was no primeval soup, neither on this planet nor on any other, and if the beginnings of life were not random, they must therefore have been the product of purposeful intelligence.” (Source: Sir Fredrick Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe, Evolution from Space, New York, New York: Simon & Schuster, 1984, p. 148.) This is from an EVOLUTIONIST, people! You might get some evolutionists mad if you quote this. But the fact is that so many evolutionists are admitting that the evolutionary process is impossible! Here is another quote for you: Sir Arthur King said, "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it because the only other alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable!" Another evolutionist, Richard Lewontin, stated, "It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door." (Source: Richard Lewontin, Billions and billions of demons, The New York Review, p. 31, January 9, 1997.) That is the only reason that they still cling to evolution! They don't want to admit a Creator, because that would mean that a God exists who will judge the living and the dead! They don't want accountability for their actions so they make up a theory that will suffice them -- without God. (I am aware of the "theistic" evolutionists out there, but I don't believe that this is a very logical position to take. See my article here.) In fact, Huxley's grandson, Julian, himself an evolutionist, said, "I suppose the reason that we lept at the origin of species was because it appealed to our sexual mores!" Yup! That's why they do it! Does that surprise you? It shouldn't. When Darwin first came out with his book The Origin of Species, the audience of the day was primarily Christian. People were piping mad at this new "theory"! And they rejected anyone who taught that way, because it was completely opposed to the teachings of the Bible... that is, until Charles Lyell came along. He popularized the whole theory and Thomas Huxley became Darwin's bulldog! Then of course, you have the man who forged the embryos to "prove" the evolution of a baby from an animal into a human! My point is that it took deception to get this theory engrained into people's minds! And for what? At what cost? We now have children who carry guns into school... If you don't think that this has anything to do with evolution, think again! Eric's shirt said, "Survival of the Fittest" -- apparently, he thought that Christians were not included in that group! The children are brainwashed into believing that evolution is the new and excepted "science" of the day -- that it is based on solid facts. Actually, much of what is presented in the textbooks has been proved wrong YEARS ago! "One of the reasons I started taking this anti-evolutionary view, was ... it struck me that I had been working on this stuff for twenty years and there was not one thing I knew about it. That's quite a shock to learn that one can be so misled so long. ...so for the last few weeks I've tried putting a simple question to various people and groups of people. Question is: Can you tell me anything you know about evolution, any one thing that is true? I tried that question on the geology staff at the Field Museum of Natural History and the only answer I got was silence. I tried it on the members of the Evolutionary Morphology Seminar in the University of Chicago, a very prestigious body of evolutionists, and all I got there was silence for a long time and eventually one person said, 'I do know one thing -- it ought not to be taught in high school'." Yet the evolutionists won't except it! All you will ever hear from them is how the newest data, the newest findings, point to evolution -- when in fact, they do not. Interestingly, the one area of science that has been the most successful at proving that there is a Creator is astronomy; scientists from that field are turning to God left and right. Why? Because "the heavens declare the glory of God." In fact, one astronomer stated, "I find it quite improbable that such order came out of chaos. There has to be some organizing principle. God to me is a mystery but is the explanation for the miracle of existence, why there is something instead of nothing." They are willing to actually follow the evidence where it leads! Would that we all would do the same! Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.
