HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

"[I]n everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18

I just wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very blessed Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for each and every one of you who have made this blog a success -- for those of you have left me wonderful comments, and those of you who have supported me with encouragement throughout the years. May God bless each one of you!

Let us thank the Lord, not just once a year, but always for his goodness:

"Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!" ~ Psalm 107:8

"Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.... Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these United States... that we then may all unite unto him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection ofthe people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed.... And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions...to promote the knowledge and practice of the true religion and virtue...."
~ George Washington; October 3, 1789, National Day of Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

P.S. For those of you who would like to participate, I'm going to be doing a special Inspiring Story this weekend on Thanksgiving; I would love to see you here!
