Ben Stein vs. Richard Dawkins

This is one of my favorite scenes from the "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" movie. In this clip, Ben Stein interviews Richard Dawkins... Despite Dawkin's anti-God view, the interview is quite thought-provoking...

Speaking of the movie "Expelled," for those of you who liked the film (and haven't heard this yet), the creators of the film are coming out with another film which is set for production in 2011! This film is entitled, "Dr. Dino: "Where Creation and Evolution Collide." The site states,

“Dr. Dino”, Resurrection Pictures’ original film project, is a biopic that dramatizes the life of Kent “Dr. Dino” Hovind, tracing his rise to prominence as one of America’s best known creation evangelists, and his eventual fall from grace due to his conflict with the IRS. The film is written by Kevin Miller, the writer of “EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed.” It is scheduled for production in 2011.

Disturbed by the devastating effect Darwin’s theory of evolution was having on morality, religion and human worth, in 1989 Dr. Hovind founded Creation Science Evangelism to help expose the lies of evolution and introduce people to evidence for young earth Creationism. His ministry eventually took him across the country and around the globe, where he gave thousands of lectures, conducted debates with hundreds of leading evolutionists and won tens of thousands to Christ. In 2006, Dr. Hovind’s travels came to an abrupt end when he was arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison on tax-related charges. But his ministry lives on through his teaching videos and his son Eric, who is taking Dr. Hovind’s message to a whole new generation.

With “Dr. Dino,” Resurrection Pictures plans to take Dr. Hovind’s message to a new audience as well. Movies influence culture, trends, fashion, language and even religious beliefs like never before. By packaging Dr. Hovind’s teachings within a dramatic feature film, we will be creating an edifying entertainment experience that allows viewers to see beyond the deception of evolution and open their hearts to receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
You can learn more about Dr. Hovind and his Creation ministry through reading articles, watching videos and debates, and so much more, by clicking here.  (As promised, I will be posting some of the seminars on my blog soon, so sit tight!)

  2. I don't see what it "thought"-provoking here. You also have to remember that Bein Stein and his crew lied to Richard Dawkins about the topic of this film, Richard would not have accepted an interview if he knew what the film was about.

  3. Please don't tell me you take Stein seriously, he's such an ignorant.

  4. That sure is an insightful scene! Wow! It's actually so interesting to hear what these mainstream atheists are saying, I think, even though it's really absurd! Thanks for the info about the upcoming Dr. Dino film!

  5. I'm excited to hear about the new movie!

I don't really bounce around the blogosphere and link to my blog, but your topic here and the link in your sidebar about Kent Hovind made me think you might enjoy my husband's weekly creation post: http://www.halleethehomemaker.com/category/faith/creation/
It has been drawing an anti-Christian/creation crowd lately and the comments have been rather lively.
