My Favorite Christmas Songs
As a part of my yearly tradition, I'm posting some of my favorite Christmas songs for you all!
The first one is a traditional Christmas carol; it is a beautiful rendition of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" performed by Selah (the video is done to The Nativity film)...
Here is "2000 Decembers Ago" by Joy Williams. I heard this song recently and instantly loved it; hope you all enjoy it!
And lastly, a lot of you have by finding my blog by looking for this song... It's Brandon Heath's song "The Night Before Christmas." Enjoy!
"Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." ~ Luke 2:10-11

"It's Called Christmas with a Capital C"
Sweet!
ReplyDeleteI'm terribly traditional when it comes to Christmas songs. I like the words to "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" (or anything by Wesley, really), and I have always loved "O Come All Ye Faithful." I love "We Three Kings" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" makes my spine tingle. :D
Beauty-ful! I esp. love the first and last ones!
ReplyDeleteBesides, I think I really like "O Holy Night" and MercyMe's version rules! :D But so far I haven't found a vid for it :( I do so love a whole bunch of Christmas hymns!
"Joseph's Lullaby" and "Welcome to Our World" I think are some of my favorite recent ones.
Nice list!!! I've been enjoying this video lately: http://video.msg.com/Home/MSG-KidCam-Holiday-Songs-Special Its the cutest kids singing their favorite Christmas songs!
